I have heard the argument that LMU was here first and when you move to a college neighborhood you expect some of this.
This would be true if LMU had the same number of students and
IF they were of the same moral character as they used to be.
LMU is expanding and by observation there is a LOT less MORAL screening than there used to be.
While they may have higher admission stats, the quality of the student has dropped.
They are more rude, obnoxious and get drunker and are worse drunks than they used to be.
I went to college. I have some "party karma" coming.
I would not want to saddle someone with a police record for trying to have a good time.
However, I was informed by a Loyola student that it was a public street and there was nothing I could do about them being there (probably pre-law). OK, but public cuts both ways.
Send me the pictures of the partiers, making messes or just being bad citizens.
I'll post them here for the world to see.
Send the party house address and we'll get a map going of how often they throw parties and how late they run.
If you can get names, facebook pages, or
better yet - get their parents email address or phone so we can text them a link.
