AVAILABLE - a very nice, very original, vintage gentleman. American made, California model. All Original Equipment. Everything works. Sound Engine, Good Interior, Minor Body work needed, but no rust, no rattles, no whines, no leaks, no smoke.
Simple and easy to operate (unlike newer models). When things break you can pretty much fix it yourself. Not a luxury model but well appointed. Has been well maintained (have the maintenance records). Last owner had it for 20 years until circumstances forced a parting.
This is a partial restoration. I have been working on it but have trouble finding the time. It has the original motor and transmission. It runs and drives great, but it does have some miles on it. Handles rough roads like a champ. (That’s what these models were made for).Uses regular fuel, but works with ethanol. Sometimes hard to start on cold mornings but that’s to be expected (especially after running on ethanol).
The body is solid. Some parts need a little work, but it does not look bad. Comes with an extra tire. The cranium cover is intact and original (rare in these models), but over the years the color has faded.
The interior is in great shape. Fully up to modern standards. Well cared for. Not a lot of fancy appointments, just a good solid comfortable feel.
All in all in; a great find; in great shape.
